Music and Worship

Music is an important part of worship for many people, and at Saint Peter’s we are blessed to have a dedicated and talented music director and organist, Gabriel Rebolla, who is also a part of the Temple University music faculty.  He uses his talents to provide a wide variety of choral music from traditional to contemporary and leads a bell choir, too. We host a number of guest artists who perform both in concert and as part of our service.

The Adult choir sings weekly during services from September to June.

Our children’s choir performs throughout the year and have presented inspiring programs that add for our worship.

Services are designed to appeal to a wide variety of members, and our worship takes many forms from traditional to the more contemporary.   Throughout the year special services are focused on peace, love, the Holy Spirit, youth, health and various other topics. Good Friday offers a special time of private meditation through an event we call “Guarding the Tomb.”
This is a time for members to set aside a period of time to be alone in
the sanctuary, which has been set with various areas to explore their personal
faith and relationship to Christ

Outdoors, we hold services and social activities, like bonfires and picnics

Members are always encouraged to take an active part in our worship through their participation as worship assistant’s in various capacities.

Kids are not forgotten in our worship. Their participation throughout the year in the service is amazing.  They interact with Pastor during children’s sermon, and use that time to play “Stump the Pastor” and more.
